An extensive menu in superb surroundings – this brasserie has several rooms set in an old building and is decorated in classic style. The welcome and service were excellent and the food well cooked and presented.

Great selection on the menu with the staff having a great understanding of allergies. The allergy menu has got to be seen to be believed. Very comprehensive covering all the ingredients in each meal. My wife’s meal was gluten free and the dishes were marked with an allergy flag which is reassuring. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. A very pleasant evening at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife discovered Banjo in a travel guide, what a great find. Situated in a grand old building with classical furnishings, together with soft music provided great ambience. Menu excellent to suit all tastes, and our choices all beautifully prepared. I had steak which was cooked to perfection. Service also first rate and friendly. I would definitely go back.

The upstairs rooms are great options for private dining options or larger parties. The décor in the rooms are wonderfully maintained from the previous club premises. The food is expertly prepared and the staff are very good at their job and make life easier for the organiser of functions.

We held our wedding reception at Banjo. Right from the very beginning, the professionalism of the operation was clear to us as all of the arrangements were made very quickly and easily with no hassle whatsoever. The service was exemplary throughout the day and all of our guests commented on how impressed they were. The lunch was delicious and served impeccably.

I love Banjo and these days it’s the place for us to dine regularly. The food is always cooked to perfection and the staff are attentive and always willing to help if you have any questions. They seem to know what the chef is doing and can give full account of what’s in store for your choice.

What a meal… Oysters recommended for starter and they were fabulous, better than I ever expected. The main was Tomahawk steak, cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, extremely attentive without being intrusive. Can’t wait to visit again with my other half as it was absolutely fabulous.

We had our annual Christmas bash at Banjo for the 4th year in a row, which speaks volumes about how good they are. The food was excellent, even though they were catering for a large number of people. This restaurant boasts a lovely ambiance with a nice décor and it is also maintained to a high standard. The staff provide an excellent service.

We had booked Banjo for our first anniversary. The staff were fantastic – friendly and efficient. A bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us as ordered and the food was excellent and out of this world. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would not hesitate to book another visit.

Went there for a 50th birthday tea – 6 people & 4 of us have serious food allergies – the staff were amazing at dealing with this & we had the best dinner.

Second visit to this restaurant whilst visiting Jersey and not disappointed. The restaurant was very busy but had a good atmosphere. Staff polite and attentive throughout the meal. Excellent menu choices. The lobster mac and cheese was outstanding.

Popped in for lunch in the conservatory after a recommendation from our hotel concierge and loved it. So much so we then went onto to visit the Crab Shack at Gorey and the Oyster Box at St Brelade’s – all superb.

This restaurant is excellent for both groups and couples, offering a delicious menu. There is a separate bar which has an extensive menu. The atmosphere in both the bar and restaurant is great, with very attentive staff.

Came for cocktails on Friday night. Then back for lunch the following day. Food, drinks & service just spot on. Crab on toast really fresh & truffle Parmesan fries were to die for. A fantastic addition to the scene and surely the way Jersey should be heading in terms of bars & restaurant.

Perfect. Choice of food delicious. We all shared the squid and sushi for starters. Sushi was delicious. Crab linguine and steaks thoroughly recommended. Good selection on kids menu. After dessert we retired to the bar for coffee and drinks. Good selection of wine by glass or bottle.

Beautiful food. The oysters are to die for! I had the Miso Salmon dish which was delicious. Staff were very hard working and eager to please.

Boutique Hotel… finished to an impeccable standard. A must-try are the miniature oysters farmed locally.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. This place is absolutely fabulous from checking in to eating in the restaurant. The squid chilli salad as a starter is the best I’ve ever had, steaks are BBQ taste – fantastic – the whole place and staff are faultless, can’t wait to come back!

I was very impressed with the service and especially the relaxed yet attentive barmen. Judging only on the bar snacks that we had, I’ll definitely have to be booking a table in the restaurant soon as everything was very well made. The whole feeling of the place is that of a decent London hotel with a restaurant, and not that of the usual ‘wine/cocktail bar that serves food’ that you usually get in Jersey – which is a great thing. I also would have to say that the Old Fashioned that was made for me was easily the best I’ve had in Jersey.

Well worth a visit! We enjoyed Sunday lunch at Banjo today and enjoyed every aspect – the decor is great and very well done. We had a window booth which was a lovely spot for the 4 of us. The menu was a treat – one of those when you struggle to choose! We had main course and sweet, and left very happy! Service was fine – not rushed or lacking but just right. Ambience was great. Food quality was excellent and well priced. All in all look forward to our next visit.

Took my wife for lunch yesterday and could not fault this new venue, food was the best we have had for a long time, the style and decor is up there with the best you would find in any major city, very vibrant customers. The front of house staff could not of been more welcoming. We have already booked to return with friends before Christmas.

Fantastic. What impressed me the most however was the service, Bravo, the staff were extremely attentive and really made my Mother feel special even though the restaurant was very busy.

We had a superb lunch at Banjo this week. I simply could not fault it. The service was excellent, the food wonderful and it was full on a midweek lunch, making a good atmosphere.
